DS1302 Introduction:

DS1302 DALLAS introduced trickle charge clock chip contains a real-time clock / calendar and 31 bytes of static RAM, communicate via a simple serial interface with microcontroller. Real-time clock / calendar circuit provides a second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year, the monthly number of days and a leap year, the number of days can be automatically adjusted. The clock can be done by the AM / PM indicator decided to use 24 or 12-hour format.

DS1302 between the microcontroller and simple synchronous serial communication only used three-port line: (1) RST Reset (2) I / O data lines (3) SCLK serial clock. Clock / RAM read / write data to a byte or character group by up to 31 bytes of communication. The DS1302 Low power consumption to maintain data and clock information when the power is less than 1mW
