- Note: Pin soldering temperature (from colloidal 4mm) three seconds 260 degrees welding! Pin “-” signs as positive. For 1W and 3W LEDs, the heat sink is not yet soldered, please do this in your own.

I have arranged the 6 x 3W LED in dome-like formation so light is spread more even. An aluminium bowl is used as shape-base (also functioned as reflector and heatsink). Arranged as 2-parallel x 3-series, powered with 12V 2A power supply stepped-down to 10V using LM2596 module (also bought from ElectroDragon.

Got 3 of the 1W to light up a small room in the basement. They work very well wired in series with a 6.8ohm 1W resistor. Next time I will get 4 and wire them in series to the 12 volts to gain one more light without the resistor.
