This item is replaced by UNO-C now.

This can 2nd version of the customized arduino-compatible UNO R3 board, fully compatible with the arduino official version, but replaced some expensive parts and more extra pins lead out. Cost down but maybe better performance.

Main customized features:

  • Replace the expensive 16u2 USB-TTL IC to CH340 IC, cost nearly half, and can avoid the 16u2 driver compatibility problem which found on some win7/win8 OS.
  • Replace the main IC atmega 328 PTH to atmega SMD QFP.
  • Replace the large USB-B to modem USB micro USB.
  • Reserved extra male pins holes, so both female and male pins available on board.
  • Reserved another 2×4 pin holes, next to ISCP, pins includes: TX, RX, VCC, GND, IIC-SCL, IIC-SDA
  • All the rest features are kept the same as the official version.
  • Lead out A6 and A7, can be used.

    First, I am new to Arduino. Can’t beat it for the price! It took me a while to figure out that I needed different drivers for the USB to serial chip, but once I looked, there was a link to them. Most was in Chinese, but I got it downloaded and working. The board works great! I had previously used an Adafruit Trinket with the ATTiny85 chip, and this one is much easier to use. I have it hooked up to a 1M WS8212 LED strip and am able to download several sketches using the UNO board choice. Can’t wait to hook up a display!

    This is one of the best values I’ve found. Comes with cable. seems to work OK. Didn’t notice any isssue with drivers (but I’m using Ubunta14.10?). Also, the yellow boards are neat looking.

    This is a really great tool. In terms of serial communication even better than the original (doesn’t lock up when serial monitor is closed). And of course, the price is unbeatable. I’ve ordered 5 so far and will soon order more.
