Description

Another TP4056 Lithium battery charge board, with full documents support, using the most common TP4056 Charging IC.

  • Onboard TP4056 lithium rechargeable management chip
  • MINI USB onboard header, you can directly connect to the computer USB port for charging
  • The board can also be charged through (IN + and IN-) pin power supply
  • Reserved TEMP pin interface can be used as battery temperature detection, only when this pin avaible on the battery. And you need to read more about TP4056 datasheet, this temperature range is controlled by R1 and R2 resistor (R5 and R6 in this board).
  • Input voltage: 4V-8V, output maximum charging current: 1000mA
  • D1 indicator light when charging, the charging indicator light to complete D2
  • PCB board size: 37.3 (mm) x15 (mm)
  • You can also read more about the charging methods on the datasheet.
  • Buck order price $0.7 for more than 50pcs order.

TP4056:

The TP4056 is a complete constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries. Its SOP package and low external component count make the TP4056 ideally suited for portable applications. Furthermore, the TP4056 can work within USB and wall adapter.

I love this board! It’s cheap, max current 1A & with temp. pin. But it has usb mini receptible, hoping they add a revision with usb micro. hat tip: http://smokedprojects.blogspot.ca/2014/01/1-lithium-coin-cell-charger.html

I previously build my own charger using a Maxim chip, which costs around 3.70€. Without board. It destroyed me 2 batteries because it won’t stop to charge the batteries. This PCB, much cheaper and almost ready to use, I measured through a whole charging cycle. It does exactly what it should. First constant current, up to constant voltage and if the charging current drops below 10% it shuts off, saying charging completed. Exactly what is needed.
