Description
ESP32-DevKitC is a low-footprint, minimal system development board which is powered by our latest ESP-WROOM-32 module and can be easily adjusted to a breadboard.
- Rapid Prototyping – Get right into application design and development without worrying about RF performance and antenna design. The ESP32-DevKitC has your basic system requirements already covered. Just plug in the USB cable and you’re good to go!
- Flexible and Feature-Rich – The ESP32-DevKitC contains the entire basic support circuitry for the ESP-WROOM-32, including the USB-UART bridge, reset- and boot-mode buttons, LDO regulator and a micro-USB connector. Every important GPIO is available to the developer.
- Breadboard-Friendly – The ESP32-DevKitC pinout is optimized for prototyping on a breadboard. The on-board LDO output is led out for powering additional off-board electronics. Peripheral outputs are grouped together for hassle-free prototyping.
- Core board based on esp-32 WROOM-32 from espressif too.
- Similar to nodemcu board, compact size
- On board USB-TTL CP2102, LDO AMS1117, microUSB, flash and reset buttons, etc.
- Breadboard friendly. Pin header 2 * 19

My computer don’t recognize when I plug the device.
There isn’t a new /dev/tty*
Anyone knows how to solve it ?
I’m in OSX.
Thanks.

Checked current stock, when plug usb, should have CP2102 USB recorgnized. Maybe try another PC?

I had to download the latest drivers http://www.silabs.com/products/development-tools/software/usb-to-uart-bridge-vcp-drivers and still it wouldn’t work. I switched from my hub to direct to the computer and it works. Windows 10 x64
There are OSX drivers at the link.

Excellent little board. I have one from Olimex, and two from Electrodragon. They are the same design.
I program mine with no issues on my Raspberry Pi (running Linux). I used it with ESP-IDF, and with Arduino components.

Fast shipping, item is as described and works flawlessly.
The board I got has a revision 0 WROOM-32 module.

Ordered another one some time ago, as always shipping was very fast and cheap.
Item still works like a charm.
Even though the pictures on the product page haven’t been updated, as of the time I’m writing this, I received the newer V4 version with a revision 1 WROOM-32 module fitted (as described)
