The easy and cheap way to turn your arduino into a prototype board
This pin header has the same length on two side which differs to the normal pin header has short and long length on two side, so you use it as a connector and turn the female header into male header. Let’s take Arduino board as an example.
This pin header is 2.54mm, and only cost $ , you can find it here.
Put the pin header into arduino, it will looks like this:
Now you can use it with another module which also just need to plug in, and you are breadboard free!
